Who this policy covers

ematsewa is operated by Bhugol Park Pvt. Ltd. This policy applies to this website, the sample vote, and the elections we run for organisations.

What we keep

Contact form: the name, phone or email, organisation and message you write. Used only to reply to you.

Elections: the membership roll the organisation provides, a hash of each single-use passcode (not the passcode itself), and the encrypted votes. The roll and the votes are kept in separate tables, with no column linking the two.

Sample vote: sample votes are kept in your own browser; they are not sent to our server.

What we do not do

We do not sell data or pass it on for advertising. There is no third-party analytics or tracking code on the website or in the voter app.

Where it is kept

The website runs on Vercel. Data is kept in a Supabase Postgres database in the Mumbai (ap-south-1) region. Each organisation’s data is kept separate at the database level.

How long it is kept

Encrypted votes and results are kept until the complaint period ends. Passcodes and contact details are deleted once the election and any complaints are dealt with. The exact period is set in the written agreement with the organisation.

Contact form messages are kept as a record of replies and work done; if you ask us to delete them, we will.

Your rights

To see, correct or delete your details, write to the email below. Requests about an election’s roll are handled together with the organisation concerned.
