Your vote stays secret
Your vote is encrypted on your own phone, before it is sent, with exponential ElGamal over ristretto255 (using the audited open-source library @noble/curves). The voter roll and the encrypted votes are kept in separate tables, with no column the two share; an automated test checks this every time the code changes. At the count, votes are not opened one by one: they are added together while still encrypted, and only the final total is opened. Limitation: there is currently a single key that opens the total; splitting it among 3 of 5 holders is being built. How this works
Check it yourself with a receipt
The code you receive after voting lets you check, at any time, that your vote is on the public record. The receipt does not show which candidate you chose.
From your own phone
Nothing to download. Whether at home or at the venue, open a browser and enter your passcode.
Under your own constitution
The ballot is built to fit: one or several posts, posts with several seats, and your organisation’s own rules.
With you from start to finish
Our team is with you through setup, a test election and election day itself. The decisions are your committee’s; we have no interest in who wins.
Results straight away
The count takes minutes once voting closes. It is made from a record that cannot be deleted or altered.

Method: the entries for the other two systems come from their official or public sources, checked in October 2026. The entries for ematsewa rest on our own tests, not on an independent body; see what is proven and what remains here. These systems were built for different purposes; we do not have the national-election experience of EVM and i-Voting.
What happens inside
Your stamp becomes proof
The moment you stamp, the vote is encrypted. This code is all that reaches the server (exponential ElGamal, ristretto255). It cannot be read without the key that opens it, and at the count only the total is opened, never individual votes.
